We are committed to reducing the community centre's environmental impact with achievable targets that act as a model to the local community.
We aim to encourage and motivate centre users and the wider community to follow our example.
We will endeavour to look at ways of improving the environmental efficiency of this seventy year old building and continue to seek resources.
We will be mindful of environmentally friendly materials when we have the resources to do so, and of their ultimate disposal.
We aim to involve the local community in as many ways as we can to promote the benefits of looking after our shared environment.
We will also commit to the prevention of pollution in all our actions where possible and adhere to all environmental legislation applicable to Goldsmiths Community Centre.
Adopting new ways of working and receiving feedback from the people we work with enables us to look at everything we do with an eye to conserving energy, reducing and reusing where possible and promoting these very tangible benefits to our community and partners.
