What is a community media resource?

Hubbub aims to provide support and information to local people and groups to help them connect with one another, making the best use of technology. This could be sharing events, activities and experiences of the local area with a wider audience or finding out how to get the most out of social media like Twitter and Facebook.

As well as paper resources that can be photocopied we have technology that you can try out for yourself and free wireless internet access. More details on the website.

Who is it for?
Local residents, community groups and clubs and voluntary organisations in Whitefoot and Downham Wards.

Where is it?
Room 3 at Goldsmiths Community Centre

When is it open?
The resource centre will be open every Monday from
10.30am - 3pm and Tuesday 10.30am - 1pm. You can pop in, make an appointment, attend a workshop or your request may be solved by email. Or, I can pay your group a visit! .

You can make an appointment by using the form on the left, send a text to 0753 420 6182 or leave a message for Jane with the community centre on 8698 3741. (Mobile phone reception can be erratic).

There will be workshops and sessions on marketing, blogging and social media. Please check back for dates.
