Goldsmiths Community Centre 1939-2009.

Goldsmiths Community Association

The Association was formed on 6 May 1938 and the first Annual General Meeting was held in 1939 shortly before the Centre was officially opened.

The Goldsmiths Community Association is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that manages the community centre and aims to improve the quality of life for the people of North Downham and the surrounding areas.

North Downham is in Whitefoot Ward, in the borough of Lewisham, and is part of the Downham estate which extends to the border with Bromley.

We welcome new members to the Association, and volunteers at the community centre, who are able to get involved with our wide range of activities, events and fundraising. We are always keen to hear from anyone who would like to help out in any way. Whether that is in helping with some odd jobs, with fundraising, grant applications, or joining the management committee, we would love to hear from you.

Please contact us to find out the date of the next committee meeting and how you can get involved.
