The Community Centre from Boundfield Road
My cousin and I were regulars at Goldsmiths right through from the beginning of the war almost. Basically it was a local club that attracted youngsters from Downham, Sydenham, Bromley, Hither Green and had regular dances with band etc, sometimes a performer in the form of a comedian although there were enough locals who could have qualified for that role.

30 organisations and groups use the community centre and over 800 people attend the classes, groups and clubs each week. We aim to provide something for everyone, from babies to older people, at affordable prices.

You can hire one of our halls for your party or celebration too, and make use of the new community media resource.

We work with a wide range of partners to promote health, learning, enterprise and a better environment and provide a wide range of activities reflecting the diversity of our community. Why not pop in to our cafe for a cuppa?
